Ever wondered what is so great about valentines day! Why couldn’t one celebrate every day as valentines day ? 🤔Would it pinch their pockets or would it decrease the image of having a special day with your loved ones or am i missing out on some other points to add here ? 🤔

Well I never really celebrated Valentines day maybe because i never had a boyfriend who lasted till then or maybe because i never really believed in the concept of V-day.🤕 Until one day i realized that no matter how much i try to avoid this topic, i DO love this concept, the only difference is i could never really show my love towards it because i chase men away faster than Hansel chased witches. 😔

So V-day is all about love and desserts.💗 What more could a woman ask for. In my opinion this is the best thing that could happen to me, although it seems like it might never happen. 😫

My search to look for a date on V-day started as i too wanted to experience the feeling of being loved on that day. And i did find a man who seemed to match my taste.😍 He was so charming, so delightful and just amazing. The only problem was that i had forgotten that people can be different over text and very different in person.

So the day arrived when we decided to meet up. He picked me up and then we went for a drive. The drive lasted for about 4-5 minutes. So before i tell you what happens next, i would love to relate this incident to something that everyone would have experienced. When you go to purchase a cake, human tendency would be to make sure it looks good and then tastes good as well. Once in a blue moon you would face a situation where the cake looks amazing and the taste of it, Well not so much !🤢 That’s when you realize that you should have picked the cake which looked decent but tasted like heaven. 💯If you still could not relate to it then i shall tell you, i was talking about everyone’s favorite Black Forest cake. 🎂

Based on my previous experience, i was expecting this one to be equally bad or worse. When he stopped the car i thought he would just be like the first cake that i had mentioned, amazing from the outside but not so much on the inside. I thought he would try to make a move or do something that would make me uncomfortable.😧 To my disbelief, he was a perfect gentleman. He knew that i could not drive and offered to teach me and not just that, he even brought me those heart shaped balloons and chocolates as well.

The lesson that i learnt from this date was that you should never let your past experiences affect you, specially not the ones that would create a negative image about someone else in your mind. You should always meet and greet them with an open mind and open arms. 🤗
